triceydotnet Womens Euros 2025 Predictions Competition

About our Fund Raising

For the past few years we have been raising money for charity through Tricey Dot Net, by inviting you to pledge and donate based on a formula of a few pennies per point scored in the game. In our most successful season we collected over £1000 when you added in the Gift Aid from the contributions.

  Crookham Rovers

Crookham Rovers is a grassroots youth football club in North East Hampshire, with 20 teams and 240+ players between the ages of 5 and 18.

Founded in 1972 in Church Crookham - Crookham Rovers Football Club is one of the oldest and largest junior football clubs in the Fleet and North East Hampshire areas, and I am a committee member and trustee of the Club.

Crookham Rovers provides safe and enjoyable football for young people, boys and girls, of all ages from 6 to 18 years old, along with a development squad for children as young as four years old.

All of Crookham Rovers' teams play junior football in the North East Hampshire Youth League and the club's aim is to help develop both boys' and girls' football and promote the game as part of a healthy lifestyle, allowing our youngsters to develop teamwork skills, a sense of fair play and a respect for others.

The club conducts training sessions for all of our teams and the various age groups. Every team coach is qualified to the minimum FA standards and is DBS checked.

Founded in 1972, it's the club I played for in my youth and now I am a committee member.

As a charity, every pound raised is put back in to the club to provide facilities and access to football for all children in our community. We are an inclusive club, meaning that we do not select on ability and strive to provide access to as many as we can. We have plans to expand to include girls teams and an adult team later this year. We are aiming to raise funds for a 4G pitch especially in the light of the significant disruption to our season due to waterlogged pitches. An all-weather surface would enable training and games to continue.

Through JustGiving, your donations will be quickly processed and passed to Crookham Rovers. JustGiving will offer you the choice to cover any processing fees and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

  Mind

Mind is a mental health charity. We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We are here for you. Today. Now. Whether you're stressed, depressed or in crisis. We'll listen, give support and advice, and fight your corner.

We provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect. Watch this short video to find out more.

I chose Mind again because I want to continue to recognise the importance of good mental health and highlight the great work of charities who support us all in achieving that. No matter how resilient, our challenges continue and Mind are there for people like you and me. Your donation will allow them to continue to be there for everyone who needs them. Please donate if you can.

This is what your donation could do:

  • £10 could allow us to send essential information booklets about mental health to 40 people.
  • £40 could pay for 28 people to campaign for change on our behalf.
  • £70 could keep our online community, Elefriends, open and safe for two hours.
  • £120 could offer a lifeline to eight people in desperate need of support from our Mind legal line.
  • £200 could help us keep the Mind Infoline open for 1 hour, helping 35 people.
  • £300 could support a young person bereaved by suicide to access 1:1 and group support.
  • £550 could provide five people struggling with their mental health a place in a 10-week wellbeing group with team sports and cookery.
Through JustGiving, your donations will be quickly processed and passed to Mind. JustGiving will offer you the choice to cover any processing fees and will claim gift aid on a charity's behalf where the donor is eligible for this.

I built the site for two reasons, firstly because I like taking part in competitions like this with people like you, and secondly to raise money for good causes with the skills I have. I've given my time to develop this website freely, paying for all hosting and materials that I use to develop the site. I don't put adverts on the pages to make money either.

I hope you'll enjoy the game and give generously, even if that is just a small amount. In 2014 we raised over £950 during the World Cup. If we could boost the number of entries in spite of the shorter tournmanet, we'd easily reach my target to raise £500. Why not encourage friends and colleagues to participate in the competition to increase the fun and raise more money for a worthy cause.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and for donating. Your support is hugely appreciated.
